RUNING ALL CLASSES (BEG 1, BEG 2 AND INT) FORMAT
-Start on time at 8pm (not 8:01) Bring auxiliary cable to connect phone to speaker for music
-ALL Instructors greet students. Introduce new students to regular students when possible.
-Prior to warm up, when everyone is lined up, acknowledge new students. Get students to say hi to each other.
-Get new students on front of the group for warm up.
-AT 9pm, 3 songs with different partners. Instructors help and correct during this time.
-After 3 songs class demo, each group shows the other groups what they learned. After that class video recording.
-If time left over, open practice time until 9.30pm
-Do a live feed of any of the 3 lessons at the OC Salsa Facebook page
BEGINNER LEVEL 1 CLASS FORMAT
-Get students to say hi to one another once again.
-Use high 5 when rotating students. Ladies rotate.
-When teaching footwork break down steps using 1) FOOT DIRECTION COUNT technique.
-When teaching lead use words like 2) PUSH, PULL, LEFT, RIGHT ,FORWARD, BACK TERMINOLOGY TECHNIQUE
-When teaching a move use the 3 )SLOW TO FAST TECHNIQUE
-Use the 4) TEACH, REPETITION TO MUSIC AND CORRECTION TECHNIQUE
-Don’t teach past 9pm. Correct and repeat to music on the 3 dances to 3 different partners.
-EXPLAIN class format (always basic principles and 1 or 2 steps of the 5 steps for the beginner level 1 syllabus). Explain that the only way to advance a level is when the instructor tells you are ready.

BEGINNER LEVEL 2 CLASS FORMAT

-Start lesson putting 3 moves (in a 4 to 5 eight count sequence) from Beginner Level 1. Those who are struggling move back to Beginner Level 1 (Know the Difference between challenged and Struggle)

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASS FORMAT
-Same as Beginner 1 and Beginner 2
